MMA : State Plan Amendments

 
What is the State Plan?
 
  • A comprehensive written statement developed by the Medicaid Agency, describing the nature and scope of its Medicaid program and giving assurance that the plan will be administered in conformity with the requirements of title XIX, associated regulations, and other applicable issuances.
 
  • Gives the public and providers information on the different eligibility groups, what services are covered and any limitations, and payment methodologies for covered services.
